Houston Ship Channel Update

 

 

HSC remains closed due to heavy fog. 

 

 

 

Port coordination team met this morning and following was reported regarding weather delays.

 

Fog persisting to about 1000/23rd when a cold front and strong line of thunderstorms is expected to move through our area.  Pilots advised most likely they will be unable to move any vessels today due to heavy fog in bays and waters near shore waters.  We are anticipating fog to clear about midday and visibility lasting for several days.

1615       Pilots suspended boarding inbound and outbound vessel traffic - due to fog

1815       Pilots resumed boarding inbound vessel traffic only

1925       Pilots suspended boarding inbound vessel traffic - due to fog

 

 

02/11

1040       Pilots resumed boarding outbound vessel traffic and inbound vessel traffic remains suspended

1335       Pilots resumed boarding inbound vessel traffic and remains boarding outbound vessel traffic
