Synopsis for High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel out 60

nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays

400 AM CST Thu Feb 28 2019

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Sea fog will continue to reduce visibilities overnight through

Thursday morning. A cold front moving off the coast will help to

improve visibilities Thursday morning and afternoon. However, this

is a weak front with onshore winds expected to return by Thursday,

and we could see a rapid return of sea fog as early as Thursday

afternoon. This fog could continue until a much stronger front

moves across the waters Sunday. Caution flags and advisories will

likely be needed behind Sunday's front into Monday.
