Synopsis for High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel out 60

nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays

401 AM CST Fri Mar 1 2019

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Offshore flow will be veering back to easterly by evening.

As winds become onshore again, the return of a warmer air mass

may result in patchy sea fog. Sea fog will increase in coverage

and intensity into the weekend until another cold front arrives

Sunday. This front, stronger than the previous front, will

dissipate the sea fog. Caution flags and advisories will likely be

needed in the wake of the front Sunday into Monday.
