.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Northeast winds early this morning will become east today and then

southeast tonight as high pressure moves off to the east. A more southerly

flow along with an increasing risk of dense sea fog development can

be expected beginning on Thursday. The onshore flow strengthens at the

end of the week and into the first part of the weekend. Rain chances

back in the forecast beginning tonight will increase toward Saturday

when a cold front moves through the area. Fog should decrease in coverage

and intensity with the passage of this front.
