Synopsis for High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel out 60

nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays

438 AM CDT Mon Mar 11 2019

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Dense sea fog will impact the local bay and nearshore waters over

the next couple of overnights and mornings with afternoon thinning

and improvement in visibility. East to southeast winds will

strengthen Tuesday into Wednesday in response to a passing Plains

storm system. These higher winds will likely end the areawide

dense fog threat. A cold frontal passage Thursday will veer winds

around to the north with a shot of colder air Friday increasing

north wind speeds.

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
