NOAA Weather

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Light west to southwest winds today will become more southerly and strengthen

Wednesday through Wednesday night. Caution flags are likely and advisories

might be needed for the increasing winds and building seas. Winds and

seas should come down Thursday and Thursday night followed by an increase

in east to southeast winds at the end of the week and the start of the

weekend as the next storm system organizes out west. There will be increasing

rain chances with this system and expect to see its associated cold

front move through the area Saturday night. Caution and possible advisory
