.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Southerlies will strengthen with building seas today ahead of
incoming storm system. A cold front with an associated thin band
of showers or thunderstorms will travel over the local Gulf waters
this afternoon. Moderate to strong offshore winds will fill in
behind the front and persist through Sunday afternoon. Offshore
winds will frequently gust to gale force Sunday morning. Southeast
winds will resume Monday then increase through mid-week.

Southerlies will strengthen with building seas today ahead of
incoming storm system. A cold front with an associated thin band
of showers or thunderstorms will travel over the local Gulf waters
this afternoon. Moderate to strong offshore winds will fill in
behind the front and persist through Sunday afternoon. Offshore
winds will frequently gust to gale force Sunday morning. Southeast
winds will resume Monday then increase through mid-week.
