.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Tropical Storm Barry will shift westward then slowly west

northwest and eventually turn more north Saturday. Offshore flow

will strengthen as this system approaches and eventually makes

landfall over central or southeast Louisiana on Saturday morning.

Small Craft Advisories will be necessary to account for the

strengthening winds and elevated seas through this weekend.
