.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Onshore flow will persist tonight through the remainder of the week

as high pressure continues to build into the central Gulf of

Mexico. Periods of scattered showers and thunderstorms are

expected over the coastal waters the next several days and may

result in some brief gusty winds. Winds are forecast to increase

towards the end of the week and into the weekend with an increase

in shower and thunderstorm activity.
