.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Surface high pressure has continued to build in over the northwest

Gulf, which should result in the further development of  light

onshore flow and lower seas. This pattern should persist  through

the weekend, after which winds become more moderate with  increasing

chances of shower and thunderstorm development over the coastal

waters early next week.
