<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">Storm Gabrielle, located over the north-central Atlantic Ocean.

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black"> 

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">1. A weak area of low pressure, associated with a tropical wave,

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">about midway between the Cabo Verde Islands and the Windward

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">Islands. Some slow development of this system is possible during the

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">next two or three days before upper-level winds become unfavorable

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">for tropical cyclone formation. This system is expected to move

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">generally westward across the tropical Atlantic Ocean for the next

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">several days.

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent.

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent.

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">2. Disorganized cloudiness and showers located a few hundred miles

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">north and northeast of the Greater Antilles are associated with a

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">surface trough interacting with an upper-level low. Little to no

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">development of this system is expected during the next day or two

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">while the system moves west-northwestward, north of the Greater

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">Antilles. Environmental conditions could become a little more

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">conducive for development when the disturbance moves near the

<span-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">Bahamas and Florida late this week.
