Bottom Line<span-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">
Tropical Storm Imelda now located between Angleton and Alvin on radar. Heavy rainfall leading to flooding impacts will be the main concern tonight through Thursday.<span-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">
<span-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">
Overview<span-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">
<span-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;font-weight:normal">As TS Imelda moves north, heavy rainfall in rain bands will be the main problem that could lead to flooding. Grounds have been dry so some rainfall should soak into
the ground before run off occurs. We are expecting heavy rainfall tonight into Wednesday and then again Wednesday night into Thursday. Try not to focus on exact rainfall amounts and location. There could be narrow bands of heavier rainfall that cause increased
flooding impacts. This also will be dependent upon rainfall rates which if they increase more than 2 or 3 inches in an hour, then flooding impacts will be worse. Please see the slides from our webinar below.<span-size:9.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">
