A persistent swath of <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  storms across Eastern Montgomery, Liberty and Chambers county <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  should wobble north then south early this morning. Storms should <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  continue to expand and develop further to the west as far out as <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  the College Station and Industry areas by mid to late morning. <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  Eventually a band of rainfall should develop and amounts across <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  the band of 3-5 inches should be common with isolated amounts <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  near 10 inches while outside of the band heavy rainfall may be <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  more scattered in nature with amounts of only 1 to 2 inches. <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  Some areas such as southern Galveston and Brazoria county may <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  have lower amounts.  The heavy rains will not only cause street <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  flooding but with the elevated river and bayou levels more <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  river flooding is likely to occur. The flash flood watch may <span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">  need to be extended this evening.
