.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Moderate onshore flow will continue today and tonight.
A strong cold
front, and a decaying line of showers and isolated thunderstorms is
expected to push off the coast between 10 am and 1 pm Friday. Strong
northerly winds are expected in its wake with some gusts to or above
30 knots possible during the afternoon and overnight hours.
Winds
and seas will begin to diminish later in the day Saturday as high
pressure builds into the area. A warm front moves back north
through the area Sunday night into Monday bringing rain chances
back to the region.
