.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Showers and isolated thunderstorms can be expected with the

passage of a strong cold front. Strong northerly winds will

develop in its wake with gusts to or above gale force possible

during the afternoon and overnight hours. Winds and seas will

begin to diminish later in the day Saturday as high pressure

builds into the area. A warm front moves back north through the

area Sunday night into Monday bringing rain chances back to the

region.
