.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Light to moderate onshore flow is expected to continue through
this afternoon, but then increases tonight ahead of an approaching
cold front approaching caution flag criteria. The chance of
showers and thunderstorms increase tonight and will continue
through the frontal passage that occurs Monday evening. Strong
north to northeasterly flow occurs after the frontal passage with
winds of 15 to 25 knots through Tuesday afternoon. From midweek
on, light to moderate southwesterly flow will prevail.
