.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Light to moderate east to southeast winds will prevail today. Some showers
are possible. Increasing east winds and building seas can be expected
tonight through Thursday. A strong cold front and associated showers
and thunderstorms will push through the area late Thursday through early
Friday with strong and gusty north winds and rough seas developing in
its wake to close out the week. Small craft advisories will likely be
needed. Decreasing northeast to east winds and lowering seas can be
expected over the weekend.
