.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
East to southeast winds and slightly elevated seas can be expected
through this morning. A cold front and associated showers and
thunderstorms will push into the area later this afternoon and
on into this evening. Strong and gusty north to northeast winds
along with rough seas will develop after the front moves through,
and small craft advisories will be needed. Decreasing northeast to
east winds and lowering seas can be expected over the weekend.
Another strong cold front will move through the area on Monday.
Behind this front, advisories are likely and gale watches or
warnings might be needed.
