.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Strong north winds will persist today in the wake of the cold

front that pushed through. Winds will occasionally gust over 40

knots into the morning hours. Winds and seas will begin to slowly

diminish this afternoon into Wednesday. As a coastal trough

develops Wednesday night, winds and seas will again increase.

Another reinforcing front will push off the coast on Thursday with

offshore winds prevailing into the weekend.

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Strong north winds will persist today in the wake of the cold

front that pushed through. Winds will occasionally gust over 40

knots into the morning hours. Winds and seas will begin to slowly

diminish this afternoon into Wednesday. As a coastal trough

develops Wednesday night, winds and seas will again increase.

Another reinforcing front will push off the coast on Thursday with

offshore winds prevailing into the weekend.
