.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Light winds this morning will become southeasterly this afternoon.

Onshore winds will strengthen Wednesday as the pressure gradient

tightens in response to the next storm system developing and

moving into the Central Plains. Caution or Advisory flags may be

needed mid week. A cold front should move off the coast Friday

afternoon.

Fog is expected to dissipate later this morning and fog is anticipated to form again tonight and should dissipate Wednesday morning.  Presently pilots have not suspended boarding vessels in Houston, Galveston/Texas City and Freeport.
