.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Light winds and low seas can be expected today with high pressure

in the area. Onshore winds will resume later today with a gradual

increase into Monday night. The next front should push off the

coast late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning with moderate

to strong northeast winds in its wake. A coastal trough will

develop and move inland on Thursday with moderate onshore flow

then prevailing into next weekend.
