.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Strengthened southerlies continue today behind an inland warm

front with a continued threat for the return of sea fog tonight

through Monday morning. A strong cold front remains on schedule

to pass over the local bay and Gulf waters late tomorrow afternoon

into early evening. Post frontal winds will significantly

strengthen and frequently gust to gale Monday night through

Tuesday. Strong north winds and heightened seas will eventually

lower through Wednesday. Onshore flow will return by late

Thursday.
