.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Periods of bay area fog, locally dense, early today ahead of an

approaching cold front. This cold front will pass across the

local bay and Gulf waters this afternoon and be well offshore at 

sunset. North winds in the wake of this front will quickly

strengthen and frequently gust to gale tonight...persisting

through late Tuesday. Strong north winds and heightened seas will

eventually lower through Wednesday. Onshore flow will return by

late Thursday.
