nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Continued moderate to strong offshore winds and elevated seas will
persist into Wednesday morning. Mariners should expect low water
conditions in the bays...especially around times of low tide. As
high pressure moves off to the east on Thursday, east to southeast
winds will resume. A coastal trough will develop off the middle
Texas coast on Friday and move eastward Friday night & Saturday.
Showers and thunderstorms will be possible as this occurs and
expect winds and seas to increase. Winds will become northerly as
it departs and an offshore flow should prevail through the
weekend.

Houston // Open to all vessel traffic
Strong cold front has pushed water considerable amount of water out of the bays. Some deep draft vessels may have delays transiting HSC until water return to normal
levels
