.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Onshore winds should prevail today. These southeast winds will be

strengthening during the afternoon in response to the next storm

system deepening over the Southern Plains. Small craft exercise

caution or advisories may be needed. This pattern will be

favorable for the development of sea fog Thursday and Friday. The

next cold front with associated showers and thunderstorms is

expected to push through late Friday night and Saturday morning.

Some storms may be strong and severe with gusty winds.
