.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Strengthening onshore winds and building seas through the day.

Early day nearshore sea fog will likely be a presence but for

points further offshore this afternoon. The next cold front and

its associated showers and thunderstorms will push through the

area late tonight through early Saturday morning. The strongest

storms may be become severe...producing extremely strong gale

force wind gusts that will quickly agitate seas. Moderate to

strong offshore winds can be expected in the wake of the front

tomorrow.
