.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Strong northeast winds will persist well into the week. Strong

easterly winds should maintain higher sea heights while pushing

higher water onto the coast. This may cause minor coastal flooding

during high tide. The approach and passage of a western disturbance

to be followed by an early Friday cold front will increase mid to

late work week precipitation chances.
