.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Showers and thunderstorms will continue pushing southeast through

the Gulf waters this morning. As this system departs a light

offshore wind will develop. Surface high pressure moving to the

east will allow for the return of onshore winds by Monday night. Areas

of fog may redevelop near the coast tonight and again Monday

evening and night. The next storm system and its associated rains

are forecast to move into the SE TX Tuesday afternoon with the

cold front pushing off the coast Tuesday night.
