.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

A warm front will drift north almost reaching into the Upper

Texas coastal waters late this and evening. Winds will be

increasing today while showers and thunderstorms begin to develop

across the coastal waters. A cold front should push off the coast

early Friday morning lowering rain chances as the cold front

departs into the Gulf. A moderate offshore flow will persist

through Saturday afternoon before relaxing and becoming

southwesterly Sunday. An approaching storm system will strengthen

the southerly flow through Monday.
