Synopsis for High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel out 60

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
A generally clear weekend is expected with surface high pressure
remaining in place over SE Texas. Look for winds to gradually
shift westward and eventually southwestward with high pressure
moving off to the east as onshore redevelops by late Sunday. A
tightening of the surface pressure gradient accompanying this
pattern shift will result in increased winds and seas heading into
the beginning of next week. This will likely require the issuance
of caution flags and advisories. Scattered showers with isolated
thunderstorms will develop over the coastal waters on late Monday
Tuesday as a surface low passes to our north. A cold front
associated with this feature moves through the area on Wednesday.
A moderate to strong offshore flow will develop in the wake of
this frontal passage.
