.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Caution flags will remain posted across the coastal waters
overnight as a moderate to strong offshore flow persists. Wind
speeds are expected to taper off towards tonight.
Winds will
become increasingly onshore this weekend. This will begin an
influx of warmer and more moist Gulf air, and the development of
marine fog will once again be possible from early Sunday,
persisting through Tuesday.

40’00 FW at MLT. The length on the final approach from the Houston, Galveston, Texas City tri-channel split is approximately 6 miles, the width is approximately a 400 ft bottom, the Turning Basin is approximately 4,200 ft long and 1,200 ft wide with a maximum
deep draft of 45 ft FW at MLT, and is navigable day or night with no air draft restrictions. Only TX City Docks with 45’00” maximum deep draft at MLT are TC # 41, & 42
