.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
High pressure building into the state today will significantly
weaken offshore winds and ultimately lower seas. Onshore winds
return late Saturday and strengthen Sunday ahead of the next cold
front. This weaker front will cross the Gulf waters Monday night.
A stronger cold frontal passage early Wednesday morning will raise
Advisory flags. Advisory conditions should persist through late
that evening.
