.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
These recent enhanced onshore winds will veer southwesterly and
slightly weaken today as a cold front approaches the coastal
waters. This front will cross coast early this evening and
introduce a northerly wind shift. A second and stronger cold
front will pass across the local waters tomorrow night. Strong
offshore winds will develop tomorrow night and persist through
Wednesday morning. A Gulf Gale Watch is currently in effect to
account for frequent wind gusts to gale.
