.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Moderate to occasionally strong onshore winds and elevated seas can

be expected today and tonight. Winds should come down a little for the

start of the week, but seas are expected to remain elevated. Sea fog

could develop on Monday and Tuesday and persist until a storm system

and its associated cold front move across the area late Tuesday or

early Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms should accompany this system.

Offshore winds will develop behind the front and persist through the

end of the week as high pressure builds back into the area.
