.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Persistent onshore winds will continue for much of the upcoming

week. Favorable conditions for the development of sea fog are

expected beginning this evening as both ample low level moisture

and a long southerly fetch are expected. There is a chance of some

light rain showers developing near the coast tonight and into

early Tuesday morning. The next cold front is not forecast to move

into the waters until next weekend, so sea fog may remain an

issue for a good portion of the week.
