nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Onshore winds will persist through Friday. Patchy fog will continue,

with lowest visibilities generally just off the Galveston coast.  A

cold front will approach the coast Friday afternoon and evening

bringing a chance of showers or thunderstorms. Winds will briefly

shift to the northeast through Saturday. Onshore winds will

quickly redevelop on Sunday and additional showers and

thunderstorms are expected to impact the bays and coastal waters

through the remainder of the weekend.
