.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

A cold front will approach the coast during the afternoon hours

today and push off the coast tonight. Showers and thunderstorms

will develop ahead of and along the advancing boundary. Patchy fog

is expected to continue prior to the approach of the front.

Behind the front, winds will shift to the north and strengthen

while scattered showers continue. Caution flags will likely be

needed at that time. Onshore flow is forecast to return Sunday.
