.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Light to moderate east to southeast winds expected today. Caution

flags will continue for the nearshore and offshore waters through

this afternoon. Thereafter, light to occasionally moderate

onshore winds will prevail through early next week. Active weather

is expected at the end of the week, with a cold front moving

across SE Texas Friday night into early Saturday morning,

increasing the chances of showers and thunderstorms for the local

waters through Saturday afternoon.
