.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Moderate to strong onshore winds will continue to impact the bays

and coastal waters through this afternoon, and a Small Craft

Advisory remains in effect as a result. Furthermore, above normal

water levels and increasing seas continue to be expected along

the coast and bays. As a surface cold front approaches the area

later today, expect a shift to onshore winds overnight in its

wake and high pressure builds in. North to northeast winds should

persist through mid-week.

the coast and bays. As a surface cold front approaches the area
