.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Wind directions and speeds will be chaotic overnight as a line of

showers and thunderstorms moves across the waters in the pre-dawn

hours. Lightning, strong gusty winds and a couple waterspouts are

all possible. Onshore winds should resume or become more

prevalent by late morning and persist for much of the week.

Unsettled weather can also be expected on multiple occasions as

several disturbances pass through.
