.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

A squall line of will move through the area overnight tonight

bringing strong gusty winds and locally higher seas. Wind gusts

could exceed 40 knots at times as the line of storms pushes offshore

the coastal waters. The storms should depart the area  before noon

tomorrow. An area of surface high pressure will briefly allow for a

return to offshore winds on Wednesday, with onshore flow

redeveloping by Thursday.
