.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Occasionally moderate onshore winds are expected to continue across

the gulf waters today. For the next several days, a diurnal wind

pattern will continue with winds slightly strengthening during the

evening and overnight hours and then relaxing a bit during the

day. Winds will reach caution criteria at times. Deep tropical

moisture moving across the Gulf waters will maintain shower and

thunderstorm chances throughout the week. Higher winds and seas

can be expected with the stronger storms.
