Synopsis for High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel out 60

nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays

646 AM CDT Mon Jul 27 2020

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...

Winds and seas are expected to continue to diminish today. Due to

the persistent long period swell, Caution flags will remain in

place for the offshore waters through this evening. For the next

several days, expect a more typical summertime precipitation

pattern with showers and thunderstorms developing offshore in the

morning and pushing inland as the day advances. Higher winds and

seas will be present in and around thunderstorms. Mariners should

continue to monitor the forecast.

nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda Bays
