Synopsis For High Island To The Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60
Nautical Miles Including Matagorda And Galveston Bays

Synopsis
A ridge of high pressure will push east of Texas today... allowing onshore
winds to return this afternoon to the Upper Texas coastal waters. Wind
speeds will increase on Wednesday as low pressure developing over the
southern plains intensifies. A strong cold front is then expected to move
off the coast on Thanksgiving day with strong offshore winds behind the
front Thursday night and Friday.

Southeast winds 5 to 15 knots. Bay waters smooth to slightly choppy.

Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Bay waters slightly choppy.

South winds 15 to 20 knots. Bay waters choppy. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms.

Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest late. Bay waters
